Helping an insurtech market an affinity insurance program on a marketplace
Context
Our client is an insurtech subsidiary of a major bancassurer, developing innovative insurance products for e-commerce players and online retailers. The company is in the midst of a major commercial expansion, and needs to deliver an ambitious roadmap of new insurance products and ensure the implementation of signed distribution contracts.
Objective
Our client asked VERTONE to frame a portfolio of projects, including responding to a call for tenders on behalf of a major marketplace, and the possible launch of more than 10 affinity insurance products within a 3-month timeframe.

- Tender response :
- Analysis of program profitability: Premiums, claims and commissions
- Support in determining the new commissioning and profit-sharing scheme, 3-year projection and business plan.
- Support in building the commercial proposal: Remuneration of the various players & definition of the various clauses
- Following acceptance of the sales proposal, marketing of the 10 insurance products:
- Supervision of legal work: drafting of group insurance contract and financial protocol & drafting of customer documents (NI, IPID...)
- Management of reporting-related work: identification of technical, legal and management requirements, drafting of requirements and support in setting up indicators
- Supervision and monitoring of the broker manager's work on setting up claims processes and consolidating and escalating data flows
