Commitments

Since 1999, Vertone has been acting sustainably by integrating CSR, sustainability and ethics at the heart of its consulting business. As a signatory of the UN Global Compact, the firm is committed to human rights, the environment and diversity. Its concrete actions, such as reducing its carbon footprint, skills sponsorship, CSR training, inclusion and well-being in the workplace, bear witness to a clear ambition: to combine performance and positive impact.

Sustainable action: our mission, our commitment

Since its creation in 1999, Vertone has made ethics an essential condition for the success of its consulting business.
VERTONE's signing of the UN Global Compact in May 2012 was an opportunity to reiterate the firm's commitment to business ethics. Vertone thus affirmed its support for the UN's ten fundamental principles in the areas of human rights, working conditions, environmental protection and anti-corruption.

This commitment is also reflected in our concrete actions:

  • Reducing our carbon footprint,
  • Achieving the 1% Pledge, i.e. 1% of our employees' working time dedicated to non-profit organizations,
  • Promoting our Positive Impact Business offer, to help our customers integrate sustainability issues into their transformation.

At Vertone, social responsibility is not an add-on: it's an integral part of our strategy and identity. At every stage, we seek to reinforce our positive contribution to society and create an environment in which our teams can fully flourish.

Our initiatives

To give structure to our actions and carry our ambition high, we have chosen to join the United Nations Global Compact and support the UN's ten fundamental principles in the fields of human rights, labor rights, environmental protection and anti-corruption. Our commitment and priorities for action are set out in our charters

Environmental responsibility

Aware of the importance of our environmental impact, we are committed to reducing our carbon footprint.

Social responsibility

The personal fulfillment and skills development of our employees are at the heart of the firm's concerns.

Social responsibility

Our employees are committed to respecting ethical rules in their professional lives, and work with the firm to support social projects.

CSR fundamentals

As part of its training program, Vertone is offering its employees a two-day course dedicated to the fundamentals of CSR. The aim: to reinforce understanding of the challenges of sustainable development, and equip each employee to act with impact within the firm and on assignment.
This training aims to :

  • Offer a common knowledge base to better understand and express CSR issues,
  • Learn how to structure a CSR approach within the framework of an assignment,
  • Learn about existing solutions to meet the challenges of sustainable development

Our solidarity initiatives

Vertone plays a societal role and is committed to human rights by supporting non-profit organizations with 1% of its employees' working time. These organizations are selected for their direct or indirect action in defense of human rights and dignity.

In 2025, Vertone launched the fourth edition of "VERTONE CARE DAYS". Employees are offered the chance to take part in a day of civic engagement and solidarity to help an association during their working hours. Two types of commitment are possible: "field" actions (refurbishing an orphanage, collecting unsold goods, preparing meals, etc.) and skills sponsorship actions (ideation workshop, training for association members, improving donation collection strategy, etc.).

Diversity and inclusion

Vertone is firmly committed to combating all forms of discrimination, both in its recruitment processes and in the development of its employees.

This commitment to diversity and equal opportunity is formalized in the Vertone Ethics Charter and HR Policy, which detail the concrete actions implemented by the firm.

Well-being at work, a concrete commitment

Vertone has been recognized several times for its well-being at work in independent studies.
Awarded the "Happy at Work" label for three consecutive years, the firm has been ranked among the best companies with 1 to 250 employees in France. Listening to its employees, Vertone conducts an employee survey every two to three years. In January 2024, 96% of respondents were satisfied with their experience at Vertone.
